Classic Point Tannery was established in 2003, is a privately company run by family ownership and specializes in the finishing of cowhide leather. The medium-sized Indian company (from the South Parganas district of Karaidanga near Bantala on the Lower Kolkata, West Bengal) with around 26 employees serves international clients, focusing on leather for bags (70%) and leather uppers for shoes (30%). We offer both wet blue and finished qualities of leather. The raw material – the best cattle and calf hides – originates exclusively from Europe.

The Classic Point leather factory specializes and has found a niche in quality products and premium goods. Customers include leading fashion houses from France, Italy and the USA.

The company has been certified by the “TÜV Rhineland ISO 9001-2015”, an international affiliation for chemicals suppliers and manufacturers. The Leather Working Group sets the highest standards for its members.

Buffalo: The buffalo is not an ordinary animal. Different types of leather, which are normally made from cow leather, can be produced from buffalo leather at a competitive level. Milled Buff Leather VT, buffalo calf aniline leather, natural milled buffalo leather, milled pressure buffers, antique buffalo calf leather, buffalo semi-aniline leather, oily buffalo crunch leather.

Cow leather: Cow hides of Indian origin have a high level of raw materials worldwide. They are very good for making scarred leather. We can produce the cow leather in various editions, according to the wishes of our valued customers. Diana Nappa cow leather, Nappa fine cow leather, DDDM cow leather, natural milled cow leather, milled print cow leather. Antique crunch cow leather, antique calf cow leather, DD cow leather, VT cow leather, oily crunch cow leather, milled soft natural dry leather, soft cow leather.

Goat leather: We also produce Goat hides for Shoes Upper and Shoes Lining.

Available colors: black, blue, cognac, caramel, natural, tan, navy, red, royal blue, olive green, white, orange, lavender etc. Any colors can be created according to customer requirements and textile designs.
